- ST Xformer II Program Pack #1 -- Assorted Basic and Binary Files
- ----------------------------------------------------------------
-
- July 3, 1988
-
- Programs files supplied by Compuserve users. Compiled by Darek Mihocka.
-
-
- The 4 .SD files that were contained in this ARC file contain various
- files that run with Xformer. The ones with a .BAS extender are Atari
- BASIC files. The ones with a .OBJ extender are binary files and must
- be run from DOS. Other files are data files, unless I missed some.
-
- If you have a .SD file that you've compiled and would like to share,
- please ARC it and upload it to either Compuserve (ATARIDEV DL 5),
- or GENIE (ATARI ST Roundtable Downloads). Indicate in the file
- description that it is an ARCed SD file for use with ST Xformer II.
-
- I will keep compiling these files until I have about 2 megabytes worth,
- and these will then be sent to registered users.
-
- Please note: The first three of the four are found on this disk. The fourth
- file is found on the STXFORMER Program Pack #2 disk.
-
- Notes on ANAL55A.SD
- -------------------
- This is the ANALOG magazine monthly disk for issue #55. Boot it with
- BASIC set to IN. Should run with the XL/XE ROMs, and FAST floating
- point is suggested. The .SD file is an unaltered bit image of the
- original disk, so you can see that there is a wealth of software
- available from ANALOG and ANTIC that could be used. Antic magazine
- does not allow that its disks be circulated on BBSs, so I cannot
- include any of their files. (Perhaps a few letters to Antic from
- Xformer users could change their minds?)
-
-
- Notes on DEMO_1B.SD
- -------------------
- This disk contains a compilation of files from a user group. Included
- is the "Death of an Apple" program, which is extremely funny, even when
- running at 40% the speed.
-
-
- Notes on STXPP1.SD
- ------------------
- This disk contains 4 BASIC and 2 binary files. Remember to switch BASIC
- from IN to OUT for the binary files. Included is the W.A.A.S. Astronomer
- program, which was put into the Xformer domain by its author Ignac
- Kolenko, who you may recall wrote the ST version called "the aSTronomer"
- (START magazine, summer 1987 issue). To get maximum speed out of it,
- use the XL/XE ROMs, and FAST floating point.
